I am a Research Fellow at Banca d’Italia. I am also a Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Bonn.
My research interests is in Macrofinance, in particular on inflation, banking, financial markets and monetary policy.
I use empirical methods and often leverage new historical data sources.

- Best paper award: I won the SNDE Young Scholar Award at the 33rd Symposium of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics & Econometrics in Lisbon with my paper “The Credit Channel of Inflation”.
